Everyone has been to see a doctor at some point in their life. Not everyone has been to see a chiropractor. Some procedures are the same while others are absolutely distinct. Chiropractors are specialists in pain, and therefore you know why you"re going to see one. But what will occur?



What you do on a Rain Maker Day is "business building." A Rain Maker Day is a 24 hour day in which all you"re allowed to focus on is marketing and selling of your Chiropractic services. Abbreviations - If you are audited, don"t count on a chiropractor reviewing your records who will understand what "PR L" or "ASRA" or even "Sublux" means. For that matter, even just a non-chiropractor may have difficulty with nonspecific abbreviations like "PT." Did you send the patient for Physical Therapy or part-time work? The auditor is not going to try and translate your abbreviations, particularly if there isn"t a key present that describes them. A great SOAP note with one unidentifiable abbreviation can cause you to fail your audit. So, be sure you"re spelling it out clearly (another advantage to EMR, push the button and also the word comes out!) or that you provide a key that certainly interprets all your abbreviations.
